Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants- Central Mindanao University Chapter (JPIA-CMU) joined the 15th Regional Mid-Year Convention held at Xavier University, Cagayan De Oro City last October 28-29, 2016.
The event was participated by 16 different universities and colleges from Region 10 and CARAGA. This activity was made possible by the Regional Federation Officers. A total of 116 students and 3 faculties constituted the CMU-JPIA delegate. The JPIA-CMU delegate participated in all the academic and non-academic contests.
The said academic events were Cup 1 to 7, FS Wars and GK QuizBowl while the non-academic events were Sabayang Pagbigkas, JPIA Best Dance Crew, Lyrical Dance, MTV Spoof, Lip Sync Battle, Essay Writing, Slogan Making, Click It!: Smart Phone and Camera Cluster, Mural Painting and Impromtu Speaking. But the most awaited event was the Search for the Ambassador and Ambassadress of Goodwill which showcased the beauty and brains of the JPIANs.
As the event concluded, JPIA-CMU garnered the 6th place in the overall rankings.
